Harmony behind the Walls: Promising Practices with Prison Choirs

In this session, the presenters discuss their work establishing, leading, and managing choirs within the American prison system. They discuss the social need for such work, the mechanics of running a choir in prison, and the effect that the choir has on the participants. The clip also includes samples of some of these choirs' work. Finally, the presenters wrap up the session with the biggest frustrations and biggest rewards of embarking upon such a challenging mission.
